ABU DHABI – The Embassy of Zambia in the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday hosted an Investment Opportunities Indaba at the Grand Millennium Hotel in Al Wahda, Abu Dhabi, aimed at promoting trade and investment between Zambia and the UAE.
The event was attended by Zambia’s Ambassador to the UAE, Professor Nkombo Muuka, and attracted business leaders, investors and industry representatives from the UAE, Zambia and other countries.
Among the key participants were Dr Stephen Chanda, Principal Business Development Officer at Zambia’s Public-Private Partnership Office in Lusaka; Mrs Mary Mumba, Chief Executive Officer of the Zambia Credit Guarantee Scheme; and His Royal Highness Emmanuel Kalonga II Sikute IV of Kazungula, Zambia.
Also in attendance was Marina Strateva, Chief Operating Officer of Zakh Investment Group UAE, alongside other stakeholders from various economic sectors.
The indaba provided a platform for discussions on investment prospects in Zambia, with participants exploring opportunities in key sectors of the country’s economy.
