DUBAI, — More than 180 new government services are expected to be integrated into the DubaiNow app by the end of February 2027, as Dubai accelerates efforts to unify digital government services under a single platform.
As part of this initiative, Digital Dubai organised an intensive specialised bootcamp in collaboration with several government entities to speed up the migration of services into the app.
The move supports Dubai’s vision of creating a seamless and integrated digital government ecosystem through the Digital Shared Channels Initiative, aimed at improving user experience and simplifying access to public services.
Government bodies participating in the latest phase include the Roads and Transport Authority, Dubai Police, Dubai Health Authority, Dubai Health, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, Dubai Culture, the Department of Finance, Dubai Community Development Authority, and the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai.
Matar Al Hemeiri, CEO of the Digital Dubai Government Establishment, said the initiative represents a major shift in the delivery of government services by consolidating them into specialised digital platforms powered by artificial intelligence.
He said the transition aligns with directives from Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum to make the DubaiNow app the unified digital channel for individual government services.
Al Hemeiri added that Dubai’s goal is not only to provide services through one platform, but also to create a connected government experience where institutions function as one integrated ecosystem centred on people’s needs.
The expansion of the app forms part of Dubai’s broader strategy to enhance quality of life, improve government efficiency, and strengthen the emirate’s global competitiveness through advanced digital transformation.
