Running simultaneously across all six member states, the campaign carries the theme “Insurance Protection… Under a GCC Umbrella” and centres on the Unified Extension Protection System, which ensures the continuity of pension contributions and entitlements for Gulf nationals working in a GCC country other than their own.
The initiative targets a broad range of stakeholders, including government and private sector employers, GCC nationals working across the region, and media entities. Key areas of focus include the insurance benefits available to insured individuals and their families, the statutory obligations of both employers and employees, and the regulations governing contribution payments.
At its core, the campaign reflects a wider strategic commitment to regional integration and workforce mobility. The Unified System functions as a social security safety net that preserves years of service and contributions, supporting professional stability and long-term financial well-being within the Gulf’s integrated labour market.
To reach as wide an audience as possible, pension authorities will deploy a mix of digital platforms, traditional media, official social media channels and interactive workshops. All official communication channels will also be available to handle public enquiries throughout the campaign.
The initiative aligns with the GCC leadership’s broader vision of a secure and prosperous future for citizens across the region, reinforcing the principle that Gulf nationals should be able to move and work across member states without compromising their social security standing.
GCC pension authorities said all participating bodies are equipped to support informed community engagement in line with the objectives of the unified initiative.
