Emirates NBD has partnered with Zoud to promote youth financial literacy during the second edition of Global Money Week UAE 2026, taking place from May 11 to 15 under the theme “Smart Money Talks.”
As a Flagship Partner and Gold Sponsor, Emirates NBD is supporting nationwide efforts to equip young people with essential financial skills, including smart budgeting, responsible saving, fraud awareness, and financial decision-making. The initiative aims to encourage open conversations about money among children, students, and families across the UAE.
The bank will host a wide range of educational and community-focused activities throughout the week, including school programmes at Al Diyafah School, awareness campaigns with partners such as the Dubai Club for People of Determination and the Ajman Department of Finance, as well as interactive roadshows and digital campaigns designed to reach wider audiences.
The programme aligns with national development goals, including the UAE Centennial Plan 2071, while reinforcing Zoud’s mission to build long-term financial wellbeing and sustainable financial habits across society.
Vijay Bains said empowering youth with financial knowledge is one of the most important investments the country can make for the future, adding that financial awareness helps build confident and responsible citizens.
Dr. Maha Al Mansoori highlighted the importance of starting financial conversations at home, especially during the UAE’s Year of Family, to strengthen financial confidence and wellbeing across generations.
Emirates NBD has continued expanding its financial literacy efforts through school education programmes, workshops for women and low-income workers, educational podcasts, and its Financial Wellbeing portal, which provides guidance on spending, borrowing, investing, and money management.
