Global Village, Miracle Garden and Dubai Safari Park announce reopening dates for the 2026/27 season

DUBAI — Dubai’s major outdoor attractions are preparing to reopen this month, marking the return of the emirate’s popular family destinations after their annual summer closures.

Global Village, Dubai Miracle Garden and Dubai Safari Park have all confirmed reopening dates for the 2026/27 season, with visitors set to return to the attractions as temperatures begin to ease.

The seasonal closures are traditionally used to carry out maintenance, renovations and upgrades while operators prepare new experiences for the millions of residents and tourists who visit each year.

Global Village returns on October 14

Global Village will open its gates on October 14, 2026, for its 31st season.

The attraction is expected to operate until May 2027, offering its usual mix of international pavilions, shopping, food, live entertainment, cultural experiences and family attractions.

The venue first opened in 1997 before moving to its current Dubai location in 2005. Its pavilions represent regions from across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas and South Asia.

Miracle Garden opens October 8

Dubai Miracle Garden will be the first of the three major attractions to reopen, with Season 15 beginning on October 8, 2026.

The garden has undergone its annual transformation during the summer closure, including upgrades to its floral displays and structures.

Covering more than 72,000 square metres, Miracle Garden is known for its large-scale floral installations featuring more than 150 million flowers.

Dubai Butterfly Garden, located next to the attraction, remains an indoor alternative for visitors during the hotter months.

Safari Park returns October 12

Dubai Safari Park will reopen for Season 8 on October 12, 2026.

The seasonal closure provides an opportunity for the park to focus on animal welfare, veterinary care and improvements to its facilities, including climate-controlled habitats, wildlife villages and visitor areas.

Tickets for the new season are expected to become available through the park’s booking channels.

With all three attractions reopening within days of each other, October is set to usher in the return of Dubai’s outdoor entertainment season, giving residents and tourists more options for family outings as the cooler weather arrives.
