Dubai Properties has awarded a major construction contract valued at nearly AED1.1 billion to Metac General Contracting Co. LLC for the development of 850 new townhouses in the growing Villanova community.

The project will cover Phase 1 and Phase 2 of La Tilia, located in Dubailand. Plans include 500 three-bedroom and 350 four-bedroom homes, designed to meet the needs of families seeking modern, well-connected living spaces. Phase 1 will deliver 410 units, while Phase 2 will add another 440 residences.

Since its launch, Villanova has already delivered 3,834 homes, establishing itself as a popular suburban destination within Dubai’s mid- and upper mid-market segments. The latest expansion reflects continued demand for integrated communities that combine green spaces, accessibility, and essential amenities.

Khalid Al Malik, CEO of Dubai Holding Real Estate, noted that the project highlights sustained interest in high-quality, family-oriented housing. He emphasized that the La Tilia expansion builds on Villanova’s strong reputation for consistent delivery and reliable partnerships.

Muhammad Sadiq Abdullah, General Manager of Metac General Contracting Co., affirmed the company’s commitment to maintaining high construction standards and ensuring the timely completion of the project.

This development aligns with Dubai’s broader residential growth strategy, as developers continue to invest in community-focused housing to meet evolving market demand.
