Dubai Municipality and Dubai Courts have signed an agreement to launch the Citizens’ Home Construction Dispute Resolution Center at Al Manara Center, aiming to streamline and expedite dispute resolution in housing projects.
The center will handle conflicts between citizens and contractors over home construction contracts, providing an integrated legal and regulatory framework that safeguards rights, promotes social stability, and ensures project sustainability.
His Excellency Eng. Marwan Ahmed bin Ghalita, Director General of Dubai Municipality, said the initiative reinforces Dubai’s housing ecosystem by regulating relationships among citizens, contractors, and consultants while enhancing quality of life and family stability.
His Excellency Prof. Saif Ghanem Al Suwaidi, Director General of Dubai Courts, described the center as a significant step in judicial innovation, reducing litigation timelines and easing the burden on courts.
Located at Al Manara Center, the hub will combine technical expertise and judicial services under one roof, creating a model for government integration and strengthening citizens’ trust in Dubai’s legal and executive systems.
