Dubai: Leading universities and education providers from across the UAE and abroad are set to converge for the 10th edition of Gulf News Edufair Dubai 2026, scheduled to run from May 8 to 10 at The H Dubai.

The three-day event will bring together institutions, career service providers and study abroad specialists, showcasing more than 1,000 undergraduate, postgraduate and executive programmes across a wide range of disciplines.

The exhibition comes at a time when students are increasingly faced with complex academic and career decisions, from selecting specialised engineering pathways to navigating evolving business degrees and exploring healthcare careers beyond traditional medicine.

Organisers said the event will not only provide access to university representatives but also feature panel discussions, workshops and expert-led sessions focused on emerging trends in higher education, employability and skills development.

Among the exhibitors, BITS Pilani Dubai Campus will present programmes in engineering, computer science and business, including specialised courses such as robotics, aerospace and sustainability-focused engineering.

“Programmes that integrate advanced technology with real-world applications continue to attract strong student interest,” said Prof R Swarnalatha, Associate Dean for Admissions and Marketing. “There is also growing demand for interdisciplinary studies linked to sustainability and renewable energy.”

Also participating is DeMont Institute of Management and Technology, which will showcase UK-awarded Pearson BTEC Foundation and Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes, alongside teacher training courses. The institute offers programmes in fields such as cybersecurity, computing, psychology, fashion, human resources and business.

Academic Head Dr Bindu Nair noted a shift towards vocational education, with students increasingly favouring practical, industry-aligned qualifications. “These programmes equip learners with real-world skills, preparing them for employment or further academic progression,” she said.

Seminars will form a key part of the fair, covering topics such as artificial intelligence in education, internship opportunities, networking strategies and pathways to employment after graduation. Additional discussions will focus on digital transformation in higher education and admission strategies for top global universities.

International study opportunities will also feature prominently, with sessions highlighting major destinations, admission routes and pathway programmes into competitive institutions.

Organisers have encouraged students and parents to register in advance to access universities and gain insights into academic and career pathways.
