The International Charity Organisation has received AED1 million in support from Dubai Islamic Bank to provide shopping vouchers for underprivileged families across the UAE ahead of Eid Al Adha.
In a statement issued on Friday, the organisation said the initiative forms part of ongoing joint efforts to strengthen social solidarity and assist vulnerable members of society during the festive season.
Dr. Khaled Al Khaja, Secretary-General of the International Charity Organisation, said the contribution reflects DIB’s strong commitment to social responsibility and its continued support for charitable programmes aimed at easing financial burdens on struggling families.
He added that the organisation remains committed to expanding its humanitarian programmes through partnerships with national institutions and private sector entities to reach a greater number of deserving families across the country.
