DUBAI — Dubai is set to add another major shopping and lifestyle destination to its rapidly expanding retail landscape, with the new Skylight Mall scheduled to open on Al Khail Road in 2027.
Developed by Dubai Retail, part of Dubai Holding Asset Management, the new super-regional mall will cover approximately 1.3 million square feet of gross leasable area (GLA) and feature more than 360 stores.
The project is expected to further strengthen Al Khail Road as one of Dubai’s major commercial corridors while adding a new destination for residents, visitors and shoppers.
Dubai Retail said details of the brands that will occupy the mall, as well as its dining, entertainment and lifestyle offerings, will be announced at a later stage.
Skylight Mall will become the latest addition to Dubai Retail’s growing portfolio, which already includes 58 malls and lifestyle destinations across the emirate.
The development comes as Dubai continues to expand its retail and leisure infrastructure in line with the emirate’s wider economic and tourism ambitions.
With its scale, location and more than 360 planned stores, Skylight Mall is expected to emerge as a significant retail destination when it opens in 2027.
