US President Donald Trump has condemned Iran’s response to Washington’s peace proposal, describing it as “totally unacceptable” amid rising regional tensions.
Iranian state media defended Tehran’s position, arguing that the US proposal effectively demanded Iran’s “surrender to Trump’s greed.”
Meanwhile, Gulf states reported increased security concerns after several drones were detected in the airspace of United Arab Emirates and Kuwait. Qatar also confirmed that a commercial cargo ship was targeted by a drone within its territorial waters.
In Lebanon, Israeli bombardments continued as Hezbollah claimed further attacks on Israeli troops. Two Lebanese medics and one civilian were reportedly killed following an Israeli strike on emergency response centres in Bint Jbeil.
