The UAE’s Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology has launched the Industrial Technology Transformation Index (ITTI) Use Case Guide 2.0, an updated framework aimed at accelerating the adoption of advanced technologies across the country’s manufacturing sector.
Developed in collaboration with EDGE Group, the guide introduces more than 30 practical, high-impact industrial use cases designed to help manufacturers improve efficiency, strengthen supply chains, and enhance operational resilience.
The updated edition builds on the success of the first guide and is based on factory assessments, industry consultations, and strategic partnerships. It is intended to support companies at different stages of digital transformation by providing practical pathways for implementing advanced technologies with greater speed and confidence.
Hasan Jasem Al Nowais said the initiative reflects the UAE’s commitment to using advanced technology as a catalyst for industrial growth. He noted that the guide aligns with recent UAE Cabinet directives encouraging the integration of artificial intelligence into production, planning, and operational systems.
Al Nowais emphasized that industrial resilience today depends not only on production capacity, but also on the ability to maintain operational continuity, secure supply chains, and respond effectively to emerging challenges.
Meanwhile, Hamad Al Marar said the partnership highlights a shared ambition to position the UAE among the world’s leading hubs for advanced manufacturing and industrial innovation.
The initiative supports the objectives of the UAE’s National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology as well as the Make it in the Emirates programme.
