ABU DHABI: — Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has strongly condemned a terrorist plot thwarted in Kuwait, reaffirming the UAE’s unwavering solidarity with the Gulf nation.
The plot, linked to the banned Hezbollah organisation, involved plans to carry out assassinations and recruit individuals, posing a serious threat to Kuwait’s security and stability.
Sheikh Abdullah praised the vigilance and effectiveness of Kuwaiti security forces in foiling the operation and exposing those responsible. He reiterated the UAE’s firm rejection of terrorism and extremism in all forms, as well as any attempts to destabilise nations.
Emphasising the importance of unity, he called for strengthened regional and international cooperation to confront such threats.
He concluded by underscoring that Kuwait’s security is inseparable from that of the UAE, reaffirming full support for all measures taken to protect the country’s sovereignty, stability, and the safety of its people.
