Dubai is greeting arriving passengers with a special ‘Zayed and Rashid’ passport stamp that marks the 54th Eid Al Etihad celebrations and highlights the spirit of the UAE’s National Month.
The initiative is led by Dubai Airports and GDRFA Dubai as part of the #ZayedAndRashid campaign launched by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office. It follows the directives of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council.
The commemorative stamp honours the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. Their shared vision and values shaped the foundation of the Union and continue to anchor the nation’s development.
Brand Dubai created the campaign’s visual identity, including the stamp design. The illustration offers a simple but meaningful depiction of the Founding Fathers, giving every visitor a symbolic introduction to the ideals that guided the UAE’s formation.
The stamp is part of a wider series of cultural and celebratory experiences taking place across the emirate during National Month. The campaign aims to revive the spirit of the early years of the Union and reinforce pride in national identity.
Officials say the gesture reflects the story of the nation’s founding and the principles that have driven its progress. It also strengthens the arrival experience, underscoring the Spirit of the Union that defines the UAE during this annual celebration.
The ‘Zayed and Rashid’ stamp now stands as a signature feature of this year’s Eid Al Etihad events, offering visitors a distinctive welcome as they enter Dubai.
