Dubai Police has introduced the smart “Your Neighbourhood Police” platform, a digital initiative aimed at strengthening community engagement and enhancing public safety across the emirate.
The platform allows residents to play an active role in protecting their neighbourhoods by raising awareness about security, learning how to avoid common mistakes, and identifying behaviours that could affect social harmony. Police then work with the community to find practical solutions.
Beyond security, the platform encourages residents to participate in police events, community visits, and social initiatives, fostering trust and stronger ties between officers and the public.
To reward active participation, Dubai Police has launched a recognition system for contributors and will provide special training workshops to equip volunteers with the skills needed to maximise the platform’s benefits.
