Abu Dhabi, UAE – The United Arab Emirates has firmly rejected reports circulating in some international media outlets alleging that funds, including a reported $3 billion, were transferred from the UAE to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In an official statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the allegations as false, misleading, and completely unfounded, emphasizing that no frozen Iranian assets have been released, transferred, or facilitated through the UAE financial system.

The Ministry stressed that the reports lack credibility and do not reflect the facts, reiterating the UAE’s commitment to transparency and compliance with international regulations.

Authorities also urged media organizations and commentators to exercise responsibility when reporting on sensitive matters, relying on verified information from official sources rather than unsubstantiated claims.

“The allegations are entirely inaccurate,” the Ministry said, calling on news outlets to avoid publishing or sharing information that has not been properly verified.

The UAE reaffirmed its position as a responsible member of the international community and underscored the importance of accurate reporting in maintaining public trust and preventing the spread of misinformation.
