ABU DHABI, June 30, 2026 — The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned Israel’s military attacks and incursions into Syrian territory in the governorates of Quneitra and Daraa, reaffirming its firm rejection of any violation of the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and stability of the Syrian Arab Republic.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) described Israel’s continued military operations inside Syria as a clear violation of international law and the 1974 Disengagement Agreement between Syria and Israel, stressing that Israel is obligated to comply with the terms of the agreement.
The Ministry reiterated the UAE’s steadfast support for Syria’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, while expressing solidarity with the Syrian people and backing efforts to achieve lasting security, peace, dignity, peaceful coexistence, and sustainable development.
The UAE also called on the international community to take immediate and decisive action to end the repeated attacks on Syrian territory, warning that continued military escalation could further inflame regional tensions and pose a serious threat to both regional and international peace and security.
