Israeli airstrikes across southern Lebanon on Tuesday left at least 31 people dead and around 40 others injured, according to local reports. The attacks come amid a sharp escalation in fighting, with Israeli forces reportedly expanding ground operations deeper into southern and eastern Lebanese المناطق and issuing mass evacuation orders for several towns and villages.
The intensified strikes have triggered widespread panic, forcing civilians to flee as the conflict continues to spread.
Meanwhile, Iranian officials have strongly condemned what they describe as “blatant violations” of a ceasefire by the United States. According to reports from Tehran, tensions have further escalated after recent U.S. strikes in southern Iran, raising fears that diplomatic efforts to contain the conflict are collapsing.
A senior Iranian military spokesperson warned that any renewed U.S.–Israel military action against Iran would be met with a “far stronger response” that could extend beyond the region.
Separately, Iran’s Vice President Mohammad Reza Aref said the country has begun taking steps to restore full internet access after weeks of restrictions.
