Israeli forces continue to pound Lebanon, killing at least five people in central Beirut, as a Hezbollah missile wounds at least six people in Israel’s Tel Aviv.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu pledges to continue to “systematically operate” against Hezbollah even if a ceasefire deal is reached, as US envoy Amos Hochstein travels to Beirut for truce talks.
In Gaza, medical sources say Israeli attacks killed at least 50 Palestinians on Monday, and local authorities say they are cracking down on looters who targeted aid trucks amid severe food shortages.
Israel’s genocide in Gaza has killed at least 43,922 Palestinians and wounded 103,898 since October 7, 2023. An estimated 1,139 people were killed in Israel during the Hamas-led attacks that day, and more than 200 were taken captive.
In Lebanon, at least 3,516 people have been killed and 14,929 wounded in Israeli attacks since the war on Gaza began.
