Dubai’s parks, leisure destinations and family attractions recorded more than one million visits during the Eid Al Adha holiday, highlighting the emirate’s appeal as a leading destination for recreation and entertainment.
According to Dubai Municipality, a total of 1,081,603 visitors flocked to parks and recreational facilities between May 22 and May 31, enjoying a wide range of holiday activities, outdoor experiences and family-friendly events.
To accommodate the large crowds, the municipality implemented extensive preparations across its facilities, ensuring visitors could enjoy a safe, comfortable and well-organised festive environment. Special entertainment programmes, public services and recreational activities were introduced to enhance the holiday experience for residents and tourists alike.
Families gathered at parks, specialised attractions and leisure venues across the city, taking advantage of the vibrant atmosphere and diverse activities on offer throughout the Eid break.
Dubai Municipality said the impressive turnout reflects its continued commitment to improving quality of life by providing world-class recreational and tourism facilities that cater to people of all ages and backgrounds. The municipality added that promoting visits to parks and leisure destinations remains a key part of its vision of creating a vibrant, attractive and liveable city.
Among the highlights of the Eid celebrations were live musical performances at the Dubai Frame, where visitors enjoyed entertainment alongside breathtaking views of the city’s skyline.
Officials noted that ongoing investments in public parks, leisure facilities and visitor experiences continue to strengthen Dubai’s position as one of the world’s premier destinations for holidays, family entertainment and cultural celebrations.
