DUBAI — The Arabic edition of The Letters, a new book by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, will be released in major bookstores across the country on October 1.
The book is the second instalment of Lessons from Life and offers personal reflections drawn from Sheikh Mohammed’s nearly six decades of public service.
The English edition is scheduled for release on October 15.
The Letters features 26 letters addressed to different audiences, including Sheikh Mohammed’s children, family, colleagues, fellow citizens and the wider world.
Through the letters, he reflects on experiences, major decisions and milestones from his years in public service, while outlining principles that have shaped his approach to leadership, government, human development and preparing for the future.
The book also focuses on lessons for younger generations, highlighting the importance of work, achievement, ambition and service.
The letters explore how ideas and ambitions were translated into projects and initiatives that contributed to the UAE’s development and touched the lives of people in the country and beyond.
The Arabic release will be followed by the English edition two weeks later, making the book accessible to a wider international readership.
