DUBAI: Meraas, part of Dubai Holding Real Estate, has awarded a contract worth nearly AED1 billion ($272.29 million) to GCC Contracting for the construction of the seventh phase of its Nad Al Sheba Gardens residential development.
The contract covers the construction of 272 homes, comprising 130 villas and 142 three-bedroom townhouses, as well as pool houses and supporting utilities and infrastructure.
Construction work has already started, with completion scheduled for the second quarter of 2028, according to the developer.
Nad Al Sheba Gardens is one of Meraas’ major residential developments, offering gated villa and townhouse living in Dubai.
The latest phase adds further housing supply to the community as demand for villas and townhouses continues to support activity in Dubai’s residential property market.
The contract also highlights continued construction activity across Dubai, with major developers advancing new residential projects to meet demand from homeowners and property investors.
Once completed, Phase 7 will further expand Nad Al Sheba Gardens and contribute to Dubai’s growing pipeline of low-rise residential developments.
