The Sultanate of Oman has condemned the drone attack targeting the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant in the Al Dhafra region of the United Arab Emirates.

In a statement issued on Monday by Oman’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and carried by the Oman News Agency, Muscat reaffirmed its solidarity with the UAE and backed measures being taken to protect the country’s security and territorial integrity.

Oman also reiterated its firm rejection of hostile and escalatory actions, stressing the importance of dialogue in resolving regional issues and challenges. The statement called for efforts that preserve regional security and stability, respect international law, uphold good neighbourly relations, and avoid interference in the internal affairs of states.
