DUBAI-Dubai Charity Association has received a financial contribution worth AED28 million from Dubai Islamic Bank, reinforcing the long-standing strategic partnership between the two institutions.
The announcement was made in the presence of Nawaf Abdullah Al Raisi, Manager of the Community Support Services Unit at Dubai Islamic Bank, and Eng. Adel Al Suwaidi, Board Member and Treasurer of Dubai Charity Association.
Al Suwaidi praised the continued collaboration, describing the bank’s support as a strategic investment in human development and social welfare. He said the contribution would help empower underprivileged families, enabling them to overcome economic hardships and regain social stability.
He further explained that the AED28 million represents the bank’s annual Zakat al-Mal proceeds. The association has developed a comprehensive operational framework to ensure the funds are distributed transparently and efficiently, in line with the highest standards of governance and institutional integrity, ensuring they reach deserving beneficiaries.
