With the Holy Month of Ramadan just days away, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) has announced the official working hours for ministries and federal entities.
During Ramadan, federal government employees will work from 9:00am to 2:30pm, Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, working hours will be from 9:00am to 12:00 noon, except for employees whose job roles require different schedules.
In a statement published on its official website, FAHR confirmed that flexible working regulations will continue to apply, provided that employees complete the approved daily working hours.
The authority also noted that employees may be allowed to work remotely on Fridays. However, remote work must not exceed 70 per cent of the entity’s total workforce, in line with approved regulations.
