Abu Dhabi: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) has achieved a dramatic transformation in public service delivery, reducing transaction times by up to 90%, with some services now completed in as little as six minutes.

The milestone follows a comprehensive overhaul of internal processes, reflecting a strong push toward faster, more efficient government services. According to the Ministry, performance indicators show a marked rise in operational excellence, underlining its commitment to delivering high-quality services aligned with global standards.

A key driver of this progress has been enhanced integration with 19 government entities through advanced digital connectivity. This coordination has simplified procedures, unified service channels, and significantly accelerated processing times. Tasks that once took up to six working days can now be completed within minutes.

The Ministry also streamlined its service model by consolidating delivery channels into a single digital platform and reducing procedures from three steps to just one. This shift represents a broader move toward a fully integrated smart government system designed to offer seamless and user-friendly experiences.

Customer satisfaction has reflected these improvements, reaching 90% in 2025. The Ministry attributes this to its focus on proactive service delivery and continuous innovation in customer experience.

These achievements form part of the UAE’s wider strategy to enhance global competitiveness through advanced digital governance. The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to adopting cutting-edge technologies and international best practices to further refine its service ecosystem.

In parallel, MoFA announced the relaunch of its scholarship programme aimed at nurturing Emirati talent. The initiative seeks to prepare a new generation of professionals equipped to represent the UAE on the global stage. Applications are set to open on May 1 for one month.

Through these efforts, the Ministry continues to advance an integrated, innovation-driven model of governance, reinforcing the UAE’s standing as a global leader in efficient and forward-looking public service delivery.
