Diplomatic efforts to de-escalate the ongoing crisis involving Iran, the United States, and Israel remain fragile, with Tehran firmly rejecting negotiations conducted under what it describes as coercive conditions.

Officials in Tehran have made it clear they will not engage in talks while facing threats, signaling a hardened stance as pressure mounts. Meanwhile, Donald Trump has reiterated that the blockade on Iranian ports will stay in place until a deal is reached, further deepening the diplomatic standoff.

In a parallel development, tensions along the Lebanon-Israel front continue to undermine ceasefire efforts. Despite a 10-day truce, Israeli air strikes reportedly struck areas in southern Lebanon, injuring civilians and destroying homes. The incidents have raised concerns about the durability of the ceasefire agreement.

Negotiators from Lebanon and Israel are expected to reconvene in Washington, DC later this week in a renewed push to halt hostilities, though prospects for a breakthrough remain uncertain amid continued violations on the ground.
