Dubai, UAE- The second edition of the Nigeria–UAE Investors Forum is set to take place on May 1, 2026, in Dubai, bringing together business leaders, policymakers and investors to deepen economic ties between Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates.

The forum, scheduled to begin at 12 noon at KIZA Restaurant & Lounge in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), will focus on unlocking opportunities across key sectors including energy, mining, agriculture and artificial intelligence.

Organisers say the event, held under the theme “Connect and Collaborate,” aims to provide a platform for networking and partnership-building between Nigerian, Emirati and broader African investors.

The event spokesperson, Mayowa Adegoke commonly known as The Lady Mayowa told Daily Times TV reporter Tibha Allyamin Biseko that the forum is designed to foster meaningful collaboration and long-term economic engagement.

“This forum is about creating real partnerships,” she said ,  “We are bringing together investors and innovators who are ready to unlock opportunities in Nigeria’s key sectors while leveraging the UAE’s global business ecosystem.”

The event is expected to feature high-profile speakers, including a Nigerian prince and business magnate with extensive investments in energy and agriculture, as well as a Nigeria-born professor based in Abu Dhabi who specialises in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.

According to the organisers, the inclusion of experts in artificial intelligence signals a broader push to integrate advanced technologies into traditional industries such as agriculture and mining, positioning Nigeria for future-focused growth.

Participants will include entrepreneurs, government representatives and members of the Nigerian diaspora in the UAE, with discussions expected to centre on investment frameworks, cross-border collaboration and sustainable development.

Lady Mayowa described the forum as “an opportunity not to be missed,” emphasising its role in connecting influential business figures and academia while encouraging the exchange of ideas and information.

The Nigeria–UAE Investors Forum comes amid strengthening economic relations between the two regions, as both sides seek to expand trade, innovation and strategic partnerships.
