Iran’s military says it has launched attacks on United States assets in Bahrain, Jordan and Kuwait in response to the latest round of US strikes on Iranian territory, with warning sirens sounding across the affected countries.

The escalation follows a statement by US Central Command confirming that it had carried out a seventh consecutive night of operations against Iran. The strikes reportedly involved fighter aircraft, drones and warships targeting surveillance facilities, military logistics infrastructure, underground weapons storage sites and maritime capabilities.

According to reports, the US attacks hit several locations including Lar, Jask, Sirik, Bushehr, Bandar Abbas, Qeshm Island, Ahvaz and the central city of Yazd.

Iranian state media reported that at least three people were killed and eight others injured in strikes on Hormozgan province, a strategic region bordering the Strait of Hormuz.

Meanwhile, US Central Command rejected claims by Iran’s Revolutionary Guards that two oil tankers had exploded after striking mines in the Strait of Hormuz, describing the reports as false.

The latest exchange marks a significant widening of hostilities between Iran and the United States, raising concerns about regional stability and the security of key Gulf shipping routes.
