Dubai: Global Village, the region’s premier multicultural family destination, has revealed its special Ramadan programme for Season 30, offering extended timings, themed entertainment and a wide range of culinary and shopping experiences throughout the Holy Month.

Embracing the values of reflection, unity and shared traditions, Global Village will transform into a lively evening hub during Ramadan. The park will open daily from 5pm to 1am between Sunday and Wednesday, and from 5pm to 2am from Thursday to Saturday, providing families and friends with ample time to gather and celebrate.

Multaqa Global Village: A space for Ramadan gatherings

One of the key highlights this season is Multaqa Global Village, a complimentary tent-style seating area inspired by traditional majlis settings. Located in front of the Main Stage, the space offers comfortable seating, warm lighting and a welcoming atmosphere designed to encourage social interaction.

Guests can purchase food from kiosks across the park and enjoy it at Multaqa, while traditional games are also available for rent, creating an engaging environment suitable for iftar, suhoor and late-night visits.

Ramadan-themed live entertainment

The Main Stage will host a special line-up of Ramadan-inspired performances throughout the month. Visitors can enjoy live orchestra shows, as well as traditional Oud, Nay, Harp and Violin performances. The popular Tannoura show will also feature, reflecting the cultural richness and spiritual essence of Ramadan.

Adding to the excitement, the Al Mandoos Live Game Show, hosted by Abdulla Esmaeel, will take place at 9.30pm across three consecutive weekends starting Friday, February 20. A special drone show will also light up the sky on February 20 at 9.30pm to mark the beginning of Ramadan.

Festive décor and photo-friendly settings

Global Village will be adorned with traditional Ramadan decorations, including lanterns, crescent motifs and ambient lighting. Specially designed installations throughout the park will create a festive atmosphere and provide ideal backdrops for memorable photos.

Over 250 dining options

Food lovers can explore more than 250 dining outlets during Ramadan, ranging from restaurants and cafés to kiosks and street food stalls. The wide variety ensures options for iftar, suhoor and light evening bites, catering to diverse tastes and preferences.

Shopping across 90+ cultures

With 30 cultural pavilions representing over 90 cultures, visitors can shop for Ramadan décor, clothing, gifts, traditional sweets, household items and Eid essentials. The destination offers a convenient and culturally rich shopping experience in one location.

Ramadan Step Challenge returns

Encouraging an active lifestyle during the Holy Month, the Ramadan Step Challenge will once again be available through the Global Village mobile app. Visitors who complete 10,000 steps in a single visit can qualify for rewards, combining wellness with celebration.

Through extended hours, cultural performances, global cuisine and community-focused spaces, Global Village continues to bring people together, offering a vibrant setting to experience the spirit of Ramadan.
