DUBAI — Luxury fashion house Dior has opened a new Regional Distribution Centre at EZDubai Logistics Hub in Dubai South, strengthening its regional supply and e-commerce operations from the UAE.
The 7,200-square-metre, two-level facility will manage inventory, order fulfilment and the replenishment of Dior boutiques across the Middle East, while also supporting the brand’s growing e-commerce operations in the UAE.
The new centre is expected to improve product availability and shorten replenishment times by positioning inventory closer to Dior’s regional markets.
The inauguration was attended by Khalifa Alzaffin, Executive Chairman of Dubai Aviation City Corporation and Dubai South; Nabil Alkindi, Group CEO of Dubai South; and Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of EZDubai Logistics Hub.
Dior was represented by senior executives Pierre De Maigret, Anne Borde and Eymeric Joussen, alongside officials from the company and Dubai South.
Alkindi said the opening reflected continued international confidence in Dubai as a strategic base for regional operations and supply-chain management.
He said Dubai South was focused on providing businesses with an integrated logistics environment capable of supporting efficient supply chains and long-term expansion.
Sustainability is also incorporated into the new facility, which has received LEED Gold certification.
Dior said it is working to reduce the environmental impact of its logistics operations by optimising transportation routes, eliminating single-use plastic in packaging and increasing the use of sea freight where possible.
The company is also introducing electric vehicles for last-mile deliveries in the UAE.
EZDubai Logistics Hub provides access to Jebel Ali Port through a bonded logistics corridor and is located near Al Maktoum International Airport, giving businesses access to air, sea and road transport networks.
The facility adds Dior to the growing list of international companies establishing logistics and distribution operations in Dubai South.
