Police in Sharjah has this year cancelled all fireworks to celebrate the New Year’s Day in solidarity with the people of Palestinians in Gaza. The police warned that legal action will be taken against all those who violate the ban.
The world has on numerous occasions called on the Israeli forces to stop the genocide that has left more than 20 000 Palestinians dead since the start of the war in October 2023.
