- Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it attacked “enemy bases in the region”, hitting them with “aerospace missiles”, in a statement carried by the semi-official Tasnim news agency.
- The United States military said Iran fired seven missiles at the Gulf neighbours Kuwait and Bahrain, but none reached their targets.
- Earlier, the US said it forces shot down four Iranian drones launched towards the Strait of Hormuz and struck “Iranian coastal surveillance radar sites” on Qeshm Island and Goruk on Iran’s southern coast.
- Iran’s navy had reported firing “warning shots” on Friday at US forces in the Gulf of Oman, saying US ships were harassing vessels in the area. The US military’s Central Command (CENTCOM) denied the report.
- Lebanon’s Health Ministry said a paramedic was among five people killed in Israeli attacks on Zebdin in southern Lebanon on Friday, with at least a dozen people killed across the country by Israel’s bombardments despite a new ceasefire deal agreed with Lebanese officials.
- Lebanon’s Health Ministry said the death toll from Israeli attacks on the country since March 2 has risen to 3,558 people, as well as 10,870 injured.
- Israeli forces shot and killed a seven-month-old Palestinian infant and injured the child’s parents after opening fire on a car in the occupied West Bank. Hamas said the killing revealed Israel’s “contempt for the lives” of Palestinians.
