The National Center of Meteorology has forecast generally fair weather across the UAE on Wednesday, May 27, with temperatures expected to rise sharply ahead of the Eid Al Adha holidays.

Residents in Abu Dhabi can expect temperatures to peak at 42°C, while Dubai is forecast to reach 39°C. In Sharjah, temperatures are expected to climb to 41°C.

Interior regions of the country could experience extreme heat of up to 47°C, making it one of the hottest periods leading into the Eid break. Meanwhile, mountainous areas in Ras Al Khaimah are expected to record temperatures ranging between 28°C and 31°C.

The weather authority also noted that conditions will become humid overnight and into Thursday morning in some coastal areas. Winds will range from light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly breezes at speeds of 10–25 km/h, occasionally strengthening to 35 km/h.

Sea conditions are expected to remain slight in both the Arabian Gulf and the Oman Sea.
