The UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has announced a four-day paid public holiday for private sector employees in observance of Arafat Day and Eid Al Adha.
According to the ministry, the holiday will run from Tuesday, May 26, to Friday, May 29, 2026, with employees expected to resume work on Saturday, May 30.
The decision was issued in line with the UAE Cabinet’s approved schedule for official public holidays.
The announcement brings good news to millions of workers across the country, who will enjoy an extended break to celebrate one of the most significant holidays in the Islamic calendar.
