ABU DHABI – President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Thursday received Milojko Spajić during the Montenegrin leader’s working visit to the UAE, where both sides pledged to strengthen bilateral cooperation across key strategic sectors.
The discussions focused on expanding partnerships in trade, investment, renewable energy, and economic development, with both leaders reaffirming their commitment to advancing relations in ways that support sustainable prosperity and mutual growth for their nations.
The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and international developments, particularly the escalating situation in the Middle East and its broader implications for global peace, maritime security, energy supplies, and the international economy.
Prime Minister Spajić reiterated Montenegro’s condemnation of the Iranian attacks targeting civilians and civilian infrastructure in the UAE, describing them as violations of sovereignty and international law that threaten regional stability and security.
The meeting was attended by Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, alongside several senior ministers and officials.
