Dubai: Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has alerted residents about a fraudulent online offer claiming to provide 50% off traffic fines and discounted RTA services.
The scam, circulating via emails and social media, promises “half off RTA services when you pay online today.” The RTA confirmed that the page and offer do not belong to the authority.
The RTA clarified that the page is not affiliated with the authority and warned that such campaigns are deceptive schemes aimed at misleading digital service users.
Residents are advised to avoid clicking on links or making payments from unofficial sources and to use only official RTA channels—including the website, ticket offices, and vending machines—to pay fines or access services.
