One of UAE’s leading financial institutions, Exim Credit Bank CEO, Mr. Robert Joseph on Tuesday met the Tanzanian Ambassador, His Excellency, Lt Gen (Rtd) Yacoub Mohamed to discuss ways of cooperation.
Mr Joseph who was accompanied by the company’s manager, Mr Siso, met the Ambassador at his offices in Abu Dhabi where various strategies for promoting trade between Tanzania and the host country were discussed.
Current statistics indicate that the trade volume is in favour of UAE whereas Tanzania imports.
In light of the above, Exim Credit Bank pledged to bridge the gap by facilitating high-volume trade between the two countries.
Exim Credit Bank has vast experience working with different companies in the UAE and abroad in various sectors including the energy sector (procurement of bulk oil) as well as exports and imports of various goods.
Apart from providing services in several countries, the bank also has some of its footprints in Tanzania where it Collaborates trade-related activities with different banks like Eco Bank, CRDB, and Exim Bank Tanzania to foster buisness between the UAE and Tanzania.
Some of its financial services include trade finance, export and import finance, trade credit insurance, project financing as well as financial advisory.
Over the years, Exim Credit Bank has been consistently investing in various corporate social responsibility and philanthropic work in Africa with Zambia being the latest recipient after the bank donated medical mattresses late last year.
