IMI, a leading global media group headquartered in the UAE, has announced its role as a Strategic Media Partner for the Arab Media Summit 2025.
The event, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, will take place from May 26 to 28 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Organised by the Dubai Press Club, the Summit serves as a key platform to foster collaboration and innovation within the Arab media landscape. IMI’s partnership underscores its commitment to advancing the media sector through knowledge-sharing and talent development.
As part of its participation, IMI will conduct a series of expert-led workshops and sessions through its Media Academy, focusing on skills needed for the evolving digital media ecosystem. These sessions will cover topics such as using artificial intelligence in visual storytelling, newsroom management during peak hours, and emerging trends shaping the industry.
Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson of the Dubai Media Council and Summit Chairperson, emphasized the importance of empowering content creators to drive progress across the region’s media. IMI CEO Rani Raad highlighted the group’s dedication to guiding media professionals through the technological transformations shaping the future of journalism.
Workshops will be led by seasoned professionals from IMI’s portfolio, including Sky News Arabia, The National, Al-Ain News, and CNN Business Arabic. Trainers will provide participants with practical insights into newsroom operations, content innovation, and new storytelling formats.
The Arab Media Summit 2025 is expected to draw over 6,000 attendees, including government officials, media executives, and content creators from across the Arab world and beyond. IMI continues to strengthen its influence as a major player in global media with operations spanning 15 countries.
