Dubai Police Strengthen Safety Investigations with New Agreement with Dubai Municipality
Dubai Police have signed a service level agreement with Dubai Municipality to enhance the investigation of public safety and workplace accidents, reinforcing the city’s commitment to protecting lives and property.
The agreement, signed by Brigadier Mansour Yusuf Al Qargaoui, Director of the General Department of Administrative Affairs, and Dr. Naseem Mohammed Rafi, Acting Executive Director of the Environment, Health and Safety Agency at Dubai Municipality, clarifies each party’s responsibilities during incidents and sets clear protocols for coordination and information sharing.
Under the agreement, Dubai Police will secure accident sites and provide all necessary statements and documentation within four hours of detection. Dubai Municipality will respond within 24 hours, offering technical expertise to support investigations and assess situations on site.
Brig. Al Qargaoui emphasized the importance of the partnership, stating it reflects Dubai Police’s commitment to collaboration with government entities, improving response times, and enhancing the quality of investigations to safeguard lives and property.
Dr. Rafi highlighted the impact on occupational health and safety, noting that the collaboration strengthens incident response mechanisms and reinforces Dubai’s reputation for high safety and security standards.
The agreement marks a strategic step in advancing Dubai’s public and workplace safety initiatives, ensuring more efficient, coordinated, and sustainable management of accidents across the city.
