FORMER Liverpool and Brazilian national team star, Roberto Fermino is set to be amongst the stars to play in the Dubai Challenge for next week in Dubai, Daily Times reports. The Dubai Challenge Cup 2024 is a one of a kind event that will unite four of the best teams from Asia and Africa: Al Ahli – Saudi Arabia, Raja Casablanca – Morocco, Wuhan Three Towns – China and Zamalek SC – Egypt.
The event will take place from the 26 to 28 January 2024 and will be played on a knockout format with the first Semifinal clash of African teams on January 26th, second semifinal on the 27th with the Asian teams battling and two matches on the 28th with a single ticket to enjoy both final and 3rd position matches.
The hosting stadium will be Dubai’s very own Al Maktoum Stadium, which is home to Al Nasr FC.
