DUBAI – The Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development (MBRCLD) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Emirates Group to develop Emirati leadership talent and prepare future leaders for the aviation sector.
The agreement was signed during the Mohammed bin Rashid Leadership Forum, attended by Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE Olympic Committee.
The annual forum, organised by MBRCLD, brought together 1,000 senior officials and executives from Dubai’s government and private sectors.
MBRCLD Director Majid Al Shamsi and Emirates Group Senior Vice President of Training and Development Amira Al Falasi signed the agreement. Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Chairman of The Executive Office and MBRCLD, also attended the ceremony.
The partnership will focus on preparing Emirati leaders to respond to changes in the aviation industry, developing high-potential national talent and strengthening leadership capabilities.
Under the agreement, the two organisations will explore the creation of a specialised leadership programme for future aviation executives. They also plan to establish a platform connecting Emirates Group leaders with participants and graduates of MBRCLD programmes to facilitate knowledge-sharing and professional development.
Sheikh Mansoor said Dubai remained committed to developing highly qualified Emirati talent across key economic sectors.
He highlighted the importance of cooperation between public and private institutions in advancing national development objectives and enhancing the UAE’s global economic competitiveness.
Al Gergawi said the partnership reflected the Centre’s commitment to equipping Emiratis with the knowledge and experience required to contribute to national development and assume leadership and decision-making roles in major institutions.
He added that MBRCLD had graduated hundreds of Emirati leaders across vital sectors over more than two decades.
