The Centre will convert the UAE’s practices into research outputs, case studies and applied knowledge, with the aim of promoting knowledge exchange regionally and internationally. Its launch builds on nearly two decades of research at the School in public administration, public policy and capacity building.

The ceremony was attended by H.E. Abdulla Bin Zayed Al Falasi, Chairman of the School’s Board of Trustees, along with officials, academics and researchers.

H.E. Mohamed Bin Taliah, Assistant Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Government Knowledge Exchange Affairs, said sharing successful government experiences with other countries can improve people’s quality of life and create opportunities for future generations.

Among its first initiatives, the Centre will produce the UAE Model Knowledge Series, which includes books, reports and policy briefs. It will also run the UAE Case Study Platform, which will document government experiences through in-depth case studies.

At the launch, the Centre published a policy brief on the Zero Bureaucracy Programme, tracing how administrative simplification has become a national capability.

Ali bin Sebaa Al Marri, Executive President of MBRSG, said the Centre reflects a direction towards systematically documenting the UAE’s experience and turning it into knowledge that can be examined and used.

Future plans include the UAE Model Ambassadors Network, which will connect leaders and experts, as well as executive education programmes based on the Centre’s findings. More details are available at UAEModelResearch.ae.
