A section of a major road near Al Hazana in Sharjah will be partially closed for six days as authorities carry out maintenance and infrastructure improvement works.
The closure began on Sunday, August 23, and will remain in place until Friday, August 28.
According to the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority, the affected section is located on the dual carriageway alongside Al Hazana, in the direction from Saeed bin Obaid Al Jarwan Square towards Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan Bu Alian Square.
Motorists will be diverted to alternative routes around Al Hazana while the works are underway. Traffic will continue through surrounding roads and intersections, including routes connected to Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Street.
Authorities have advised drivers to follow temporary traffic diversions, directional signs and road safety instructions during the closure.
Motorists travelling through the area are also advised to allow extra time for their journeys due to possible delays caused by the diversions.
