UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received a phone call from US President Donald Trump on Tuesday, during which the two leaders discussed bilateral cooperation and developments in the Middle East.

The leaders reviewed various areas of cooperation and joint efforts between the United Arab Emirates and the United States, and discussed ways to further strengthen relations in line with their shared interests.

They also exchanged views on the latest developments in the Middle East and efforts to address the region’s ongoing challenges.

The call comes amid heightened regional tensions and continuing diplomatic efforts to address developments in the Middle East.
