RAS AL KHAIMAH, July 10, 2026 — H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, received Dr. Deepak Mittal, Ambassador of the Republic of India to the UAE, along with a delegation of Indian business leaders at the Ruler’s Palace in Saqr bin Mohammed City on Thursday.
During the meeting, Sheikh Saud welcomed the ambassador and his delegation and discussed ways to further enhance cooperation between the UAE and India across a range of sectors. The discussions focused on initiatives that would support mutual interests and contribute to the continued progress and prosperity of both nations.
The two sides also reviewed opportunities to deepen economic cooperation between Ras Al Khaimah and India, particularly by leveraging the emirate’s strategic economic advantages and investment potential. In addition, they exchanged views on several issues of shared interest.
Dr. Deepak Mittal expressed his appreciation to Sheikh Saud for the warm reception and generous hospitality. He praised the strong and growing relationship between the UAE and India, highlighting the UAE’s significant regional and global standing as well as the notable development taking place across various sectors in Ras Al Khaimah.
The meeting reflects the continued commitment of both countries to strengthening their longstanding partnership and expanding economic and commercial ties.
