SHARJAH – Sharjah Police has signed a partnership agreement with The Elite International Group for Commercial Agencies to enable its employees to own vehicles through a flexible lease-to-own programme that does not require traditional bank financing.

The agreement, signed under the force’s “Tamalluk” (Ownership) Initiative, is aimed at enhancing employee welfare, financial stability and quality of life by making vehicle ownership more accessible.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by Major General Dr Ali Ahmed Bou Alzoud, Director-General of the General Department of Resources and Support Services at Sharjah Police, and Mr Prakash Thadani, General Manager of The Elite International Group, in the presence of senior officials from both organisations.

Under the agreement, Sharjah Police personnel will be able to acquire vehicles through long-term lease-to-own arrangements, providing an alternative to conventional financing methods and reducing the financial burden associated with vehicle purchases.

Major General Dr Bou Alzoud described the partnership as an important addition to the Tamalluk initiative, noting that it reflects Sharjah Police’s commitment to supporting employees through practical programmes that promote social and financial well-being.

He said the initiative forms part of the force’s broader strategy to create a sustainable and motivating work environment while expanding the benefits available to its workforce.

Sharjah Police said the partnership will offer employees a wider selection of vehicles and more flexible ownership options, further strengthening the comprehensive support system provided to its personnel and contributing to higher levels of employee satisfaction.
