WASHINGTON:— Donald J. Trump has announced a temporary suspension of operations aimed at Iran’s energy facilities, extending the pause for an additional 10 days until April 6, 2026.
The decision, shared on the Truth Social platform, follows a request from the Iranian government and comes amid ongoing diplomatic discussions between the two sides.
Trump stated that talks are progressing positively, dismissing contrary reports as inaccurate. He emphasized that communication channels will remain open during the pause and expressed optimism about the direction of the negotiations.
