Dubai: Motorists across Dubai will enjoy three days of free public parking during the long weekend marking the UAE’s 53rd National Day (Eid Al Etihad), the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) confirmed on Thursday.
Parking will be free of charge on Sunday, November 30; Monday, December 1; and Tuesday, December 2. Regular parking fees will resume on Wednesday, December 3.
The RTA clarified that multi-storey parking facilities and Al Khail Gate N-365 are not included in the free-parking announcement.
Extended Metro and Tram Timings
To accommodate increased movement during the holiday period, Dubai Metro and Dubai Tram will operate on extended schedules.
Dubai Metro (Red & Green Lines):

Saturday, Nov 29: 5am – 1am

Monday & Tuesday, Dec 1–2: 5am – 1am
Dubai Tram:

Saturday, Nov 29: 6am – 1am

Public Buses, Marine Transport & Service Centres
Commuters using buses and marine transport are advised to check updated schedules via the S’hail app for the holiday period.
All RTA Customer Happiness Centres will be closed on December 1 and 2. However, Smart Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, Al Twar, and RTA Headquarters will remain open 24/7.
Service Provider Centres will also be closed on December 1–2 and will reopen on December 3.
