The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has confirmed that Monday and Tuesday, 1 and 2 December 2025, will be official paid holidays for all private sector employees across the UAE to mark the 54th Eid Al Etihad.

The announcement was issued through a ministry circular that aligns with the Cabinet’s approved list of public holidays for both government and private sector workers. The decision ensures uniformity across the country and gives employees a two day break to celebrate the national occasion.

Eid Al Etihad, the UAE’s National Day, commemorates the founding of the nation and is one of the country’s most significant annual celebrations. The holiday period typically includes public events, cultural activities, and nationwide festivities.

In its statement, MoHRE extended congratulations to the UAE’s leadership, citizens, and residents, noting the importance of the occasion and the unity it represents.

Private sector companies are expected to follow the directive and grant employees the paid holiday as stipulated.
